Mid-Century Modern Teak Sideboard by Emperor, circa 1960s - A single Mid-Century Modern sideboard, attributed to the British manufacturer Emperor, dating to the 1960s. The unit is constructed from veneered wood, exhibiting a distinctive, high-contrast vertical grain pattern consistent with teak / afromesia. The sideboard stands on four slender, tapered legs. The facade is divided into storage compartments: the left section features three stacked drawers, and the right section contains three cabinet compartments. All drawers and cabinet doors are fitted with circular, carved wooden knob handles. The central cabinet door hinges downward to reveal a cocktail compartment, which features a mirrored back panel and a striped interior lining.
