A Beautility Mid-Century Modern Teak Sideboard - A single Mid-Century Modern sideboard or credenza attributed to the manufacturer Beautility, circa 1960s. The piece is constructed primarily of teak or teak veneer and stands on four tapered legs, characteristic of the period. The front elevation is divided into three main sections. The left side features two cabinet doors: a standard hinged door on the far left and a drop-down or fall-front door in the centre, which opens to reveal a shelved interior space. The right side features a bank of three stacked drawers. All cabinet doors and drawers are fitted with distinctive pulls consisting of contoured wooden handles in the style of straps fastened with square buckles. The overall design features clean, linear aesthetics typical of British mid-century design.
