Antique Jacobean Revival Tiger Oak Double Wardrobe Armoire - A single large wardrobe or armoire constructed from dark-stained oak, exhibiting characteristics of the Jacobean Revival or Arts & Crafts Moderne style, often referred to in the market as 'Tiger Oak' due to the prominent grain pattern. The piece features a prominent molded cornice with repeating dentil or fluted ornamentation. The two tall doors are detailed with recessed panels. The upper panels display vertical reeding or fluting, flanked by decorative metal escutcheons and visible strap hinges. The doors are secured by two round wooden knobs, currently tied together with twine. The interior is divided vertically. The left compartment contains one upper shelf, two shallow drawers or trays, and two lower fixed shelves. The right compartment contains five fixed shelves.
