Late Victorian Style Brass and Ruby Red Glass Parlor Oil Lamp - A single antique oil or kerosene parlor lamp, likely dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The construction utilizes glass, brass, and wood components. The lamp stands on a hexagonal dark wood base which supports a bell-shaped, patinated brass pedestal. This pedestal holds a deeply ribbed ruby red glass fuel fount. The lamp mechanism incorporates brass collar fittings and a traditional wick adjustment wheel, consistent with Kosmos or Veritas style burners often seen in European and Victorian lamps. The top assembly includes a large, spherical opaque white milk glass globe shade, surmounted by a clear glass chimney. No manufacturer markings or text are visible on the exterior components.
