Large Carved Oak Oval Wall Mirror, Aesthetic Movement Period - A large antique wall mirror, identified by market comparables as dating to the Aesthetic Movement or early Arts and Crafts period, circa 1900. The mirror features an oval reflective glass plate set within a deep, dark-toned carved oak frame. The frame is shaped as an elongated octagon. Decoration includes an inner border of bead-and-reel molding surrounding the glass plate. The frame is further embellished with ten prominent circular bosses secured at the angular points and centers. The corners of the octagonal frame exhibit deep scrolled carving. No visible manufacturer markings or inscriptions are present.
