The chair features a high, flared back and exposed, curved dark-stained wooden armrests and short feet. The chair is fully upholstered in a heavily textured woven tapestry fabric displaying a dense floral and foliate pattern primarily in muted tones of cream, beige, brown, and green. The construction is of a traditional frame with modern stylistic elements popular in the 1940s and 1950s.
