He studied art at the Avni Institute in Tel Aviv and later continued his studies in London and Vienna. Shualy was a member of the “Meshushe” group. His paintings depict a wide range of subjects, focusing mainly on landscapes and figures. His works vary in style, though some lean toward Expressionism. Shualy has received numerous awards for his work and has exhibited extensively in Israel and abroad.
