Classical Mahogany sofa with Carved Paw Feet, circa 1840 - Classical mahogany sofa, mid 19th-century, featuring boldly scrolled arms with acanthus-carved terminals and richly carved paw feet on both the front and back legs. The shaped crest rail is centered by subtle scroll carving, framing the upholstered back and seat. Upholstered in a light damask fabric with foliate scroll pattern, complemented by bolster cushions at each end. Also upholstered on backing. Slight staining to fabric. 33 in. H, 79 in. W, 24 in. D
