Federal Mahogany Sideboard/Server with Cellarette Drawer - American c. 1810-1825, a fine Federal period mahogany sideboard or server, the rectangular case fitted with three drawers across the frieze, raised on six reeded and turned legs. The case features bold figured mahogany veneers with line inlay and brass lion mask pulls. The right drawer retains its original lead-lined wine cellarette interior, designed for storing bottles and cooling wine, a rare survival that adds to the piece's desirability. The sideboard's proportions, reeded legs, and inlaid decoration reflect the refined taste of early American cabinetmaking, likely from the Mid-Atlantic region. Provenance: a prominent Southern estate. 36 in. H, 72 in. W, 20 in. D
