Set of Four RJ Horner Carved Oak Side Chairs - Set of four finely carved quarter-sawn oak side chairs by RJ Horner, each with grotesque mask crest carvings framed by scrolling acanthus and foliage. The deep relief carving is characteristic of Horner’s best dining suites. Seats are upholstered in period-style fabric (later replacements) over sturdy carved bases with turned legs. It is unusual to encounter such a cohesive Horner dining group, offered in separate lots, and rarer still to find the Cupid cabinet offered alongside.
