Southern Walnut Pie Safe with Unusual Tin Panels - A fine Southern walnut pie safe, retaining exceptional warm patina and presenting with a shaped gallery top above two dovetailed drawers with original wooden pulls. Below are two paneled doors fitted with pierced tin inserts of highly unusual design, featuring intricate repeating arch and geometric motfis, far less common than the typical punched star or circle patterns. The interior opens to two shelves offering ample storage. Constructed with mortised sides, chafered backboards, and resting on shaped bracket feet.
