Pair of Old Paris Porcelain Vases, Mid-19th Century - A fine pair of Old Paris porcelain vases, each hand-painted with romantic figural scenes of courting couples in pastoral landscapes, executed in soft pastel tones with remarkable detail. The reverse sides show complementary floral decoration. Vases are highlighted with a warm pink ground and adorned with elaborate gilt ivy vine handles that trial down the shoulders.
