Victorian Rococo Revival Carved Mahongany Etagere, Mid 19th Century - Victorian etagere or display cabinet executed in rich mahogany with dramatic Rococo revival carving. The arched pediment is adorned with a bold crest of scrolls and floral motifs, over a mirrored back flanked by teired serpentine shelves supported by exuberantly carved openwork scrools. The base features a deep serpentine front with heavy carvings, centered by a round medallion, all raised on cabriole legs with carved knees and scrolled feet.
