The carving emphasizes ascetic features with finely detailed facial expression, ribbed chest, and flowing monastic robes. The dense hardwood has a deep reddish-brown tone and smooth patina, accentuating the sculptural contours. Approx. 9 in. H, 6½ in. W, 4½ in. D. Condition: Good overall condition with light surface wear, small drying crack across base, and natural variations in grain.
