Himalayan or Nepalese Cast Bronze Figure of Tara, 20th Century - Finely cast bronze figure of Tara standing in a graceful pose atop a lotus pedestal, framed by an arched flaming mandorla. The figure is adorned with elaborate jewelry and a high crown, one hand extended in gesture of charity (varadamudra). Cast in the traditional lost-wax method and displaying a soft dark patina with traces of ritual wear. Approx. 10½ in. H, 4½ in. W, 2½ in. D. Condition: Good overall condition with oxidation, small casting flaws, and light verdigris consistent with age.
