Chinese Cast Bronze Figure of the Buddha, Mid-20th Century - Cast bronze figure of the Buddha Shakyamuni seated in meditation on a double lotus base, the hands resting in the Dhyana Mudra and the face with calm expression and elongated earlobes. Traces of reddish lacquer remain to the surface, with an even brown patina developed through age and handling. Approx. 15 in. H, 8½ in. W, 6½ in. D. Condition: Good overall condition with oxidation, small surface wear, and areas of residual lacquer consistent with age.
