Mid-Century Carved Wooden Nude Woman Signed “Etienne - Mid-20th century carved wood sculpture depicting a standing nude woman with headscarf, one arm across her chest, the other at her side, standing on a naturalistic base. Signed Etienne incised on underside of base. The sculptor’s approach—subtle surface modeling, slightly stylized anatomy, and expressive restraint—suggests Continental or Caribbean workshop influence. 17½ in. H, 6 in. W Condition: Surface wear, light scratches, and small age cracks, particularly at back and base; overall good stable condition with smooth aged patina.
