Set of Four Chinese Watercolor and Ink Paintings of Court Beauties - Set of four finely painted Chinese watercolor and ink compositions on silk, each depicting an elegant lady of the court in traditional robes engaged in leisurely pursuits — one washing silk by a stream, one standing by a rock garden, one floating among clouds holding a vase of blossoms, and one seated in a boat playing a lute. Each painting signed and bearing artist’s seal, presented under glass in thin black lacquered frames. Mid-20th century. Each approximately 22 in. H, 16 in. W (frames); one horizontal example 16 in. H, 22 in. W Condition: Light creasing to silk and minor toning; frames with minor edge wear; overall very good presentation.
