The figure’s serene expression and detailed coiffure are characteristic of Baule ancestor and spirit figures (blolo bla), used in personal shrines and divination practices. The aged, mottled patina with traces of kaolin pigment attests to traditional handling and ritual application. Approximately 13 in. high, 5 in. wide, and 4 in. deep. Condition: Age-consistent wear, with scattered surface abrasions, minor cracks, and natural patina variations; overall very good presentation.
