The figure displays incised geometric decoration on the torso and coiffure, with a serene expression and elongated features typical of Akan artistry. Smooth, dark patina from age and use, with subtle polish highlighting carved details. Functional yet deeply symbolic, stools of this type represented personal status and were believed to embody ancestral presence. 7 ¾ in. H × 8 ½ in. W × 4 ½ in.
