Chinese Sancai-Glazed Pottery Figure of an Elder - Chinese pottery figure of a standing elder, modeled with a staff and blue sack over his shoulder. Glazed in traditional sancai tones of amber, green, and cobalt over a buff body. Early to mid-20th century, inspired by Tang dynasty tomb figures. 5¾ in. H, 2½ in. W Condition: Minor glaze flakes at hem and staff tip; overall very good with bright color and sound form.
