Polychrome European Art Deco Figural Sculpture - Continental polychrome spelter or composite figure of a partially draped standing maiden, posed gracefully atop a variegated marbleized plinth with ornate gilt metal feet. The figure retains traces of original painted finish in tan and olive tones, typical of European decorative work from the interwar period, likely French or Austrian, circa 1925–1935. 15 in. H, 5½ in. W Condition: Losses to painted surface throughout, minor oxidation to base mounts, and light wear consistent with age; overall stable.
