Windsor-Style Continuous Arm Bench, 20th century - Attractive long bench in the classic Windsor style, featuring a continuous arm and back rail supported by baluster-turned spindles over a thick plank seat. The bench rests on turned legs joined by stretchers for added stability. Constructed of solid maple or cherry with a warm hand-rubbed finish, this piece reflects the Shaker and early Colonial tradition of New England seating furniture. Approximately 38 in. high, 74 in. wide, 17 in. deep. Condition: Light surface wear from use, tight joints, and rich patina; structurally sound and ready for use.
