Fine Hepplewhite Inlaid Cherry Work Table, Circa 1800–1820 - Elegant early 19th-century Hepplewhite-style inlaid cherry work or writing table, likely New England or Mid-Atlantic region, circa 1800–1820. The rectangular top rests over a single dovetailed drawer with figured walnut or mahogany veneer front, flanked by brass knobs. The delicate tapered legs feature refined line and oval inlay typical of Federal craftsmanship. Retains an excellent warm surface and mellow patina. 30 ½ in. H, 24 in. W, 18 in. D. Condition: Very good overall; minor age-related wear, faint surface marks, and small veneer irregularities consistent with age; structurally tight and stable.
