Pair of Continental Porcelain Musician Figures, Late 19th/Early 20th Century - A colorful pair of Continental porcelain musician figures, each modeled in high relief and richly hand-painted in vivid enamels with gilt flourishes. The male figure stands poised with a tabor drum, dressed in striped breeches, a gilt-patterned doublet, and a flowing yellow cloak draped over one shoulder. His companion, a young woman, is shown playing a hammered dulcimer, wearing a deep-blue skirt with gilt foliate decoration, a green bodice, and a bright yellow apron tied with pink ribbons. Both are set against lush bocage and raised on ornate rococo-style scroll bases embellished with pierced ornament and gilt accents. Marked on the reverse with an underglaze maker’s cypher. Condition: Overall very good; scattered small enamel flakes and rubbing to gilt; minor losses to applied floral elements; no major breaks observed.
