Victorian Walnut Bedside/Lamp Cabinet, 19th Century - A handsome Victorian walnut bedside or lamp cabinet, late 19th century, featuring a shaped overhanging top above a single frieze drawer fitted with trefoil ring pulls set into molded recessed panels. Below is a paneled door with raised molding and figured burl veneer, opening to a shelved interior suitable for storage. The cabinet is constructed in walnut with rich warm patina, and stands on a molded plinth base with canted corners, giving it an attractive architectural stance. The back is finished in old black paint, consistent with typical period construction. 36 in. H, 24 in. W, 17 in. D Condition: Good and sturdy overall; scattered expected surface wear, scratches, and small marks to top; age shrinkage line on top; hardware appears original; interior shelf with typical use wear.
