Large French Country Painted Cupboard, Early 20th Century - A charming French Country painted cupboard in two parts, early 20th century, retaining an appealing distressed creamy-white finish with warm patination. The upper section features a boldly molded cornice with a carved dove motif centered above a pair of chicken-wire panel doors opening to a deep interior with shelves. The lower section includes two paneled doors and bracket feet with a shaped apron, all painted in the same soft aged palette. The interior is painted a rich barn red, including a fitted work surface and two small drawers. approx. 84 in. H, 54 in. W, 24 in. D Condition: Wear consistent with age and use throughout; scattered paint losses, abrasions, and expected distress to the finish; lower doors slightly loose; interior shows age and wear; structurally solid and displays very well.
