Swiss Six-Air Cylinder Music Box, Fabrique de Genève, 19th Century - A fine 19th-century Swiss six-air cylinder music box housed in an ebonized case with line inlay and a domed lid featuring a central geometric medallion. The interior retains its original lithographed tune card listing six selections, including waltzes by Strauss and works by Mendelssohn. Fitted with a glass dust cover over the large pinned cylinder and steel comb, the mechanism appears complete and well preserved. Two brass control levers remain intact, and the case sits on small molded feet. 5 in. H, 20 in. W, 9 in. D. Condition: Mechanism winds and turns but is untested for full musical play; case shows scattered surface wear, rubbing, and small veneer losses; tune card exhibits expected age toning; overall good, complete estate condition.
