Carved Oak Renaissance Revival Sideboard with Upper Cabinet, Late 19th Century - A richly carved Renaissance Revival oak sideboard featuring an architectural two-part form with deep relief decoration and excellent presence. The upper cabinet showcases a projecting cornice with dentil and foliate carving, over a pair of paneled doors adorned with stylized thistles and scrollwork, flanked by turned and drop-finial supports. The lower section includes geometric and floral carved panels, ring-turned legs, and a full lower shelf for display or storage. Interior compartments provide generous space, with the upper cabinet fitted with a single shelf and the lower section left open for larger items. Warm medium-dark oak finish throughout with crisp carving and strong visual depth. Approx. 63 in. H, 48 in. W, 22 in. D. Condition: Very good overall; age-expected surface marks and wear; minor edge rubs; interior clean; structurally solid; doors open and close properly.
