Large Mahogany Three-Door Bookcase, Late 19th Century - A stately late 19th-century mahogany bookcase of generous proportion, fitted with three full-length glass doors framed by boldly carved rope-twist columns and resting on compressed bun feet. The substantial molded cornice is enriched with matching rope-carved trim, unifying the design and adding a sense of architectural presence. The interior is fitted with adjustable wooden shelves, offering ample space for books, porcelain, or decorative display. Retains original brass escutcheons and working keys. 60 in. H, 66 in. W, 16 in. D. Condition: Very good overall; surface exhibits expected wear from age and use; glass panels clean and intact; shelves sturdy; finish with minor rubbing and scattered marks consistent with handling.
