Pair of American Brilliant Cut Glass Bowls - A matched pair of American Brilliant Period cut glass bowls, each executed in heavy clear crystal with deeply cut geometric decoration. The smaller bowl features dense hobstar and crosshatch panels framed by sweeping fan and diamond motifs, centered by a radiating starburst and finished with a sharply serrated rim. The larger example displays bold pinwheels and multi-point starbursts alternating with elongated fan panels, likewise terminating in a scalloped sawtooth rim. Both bowls exhibit strong prismatic refraction and crisp, confident cutting characteristic of quality late 19th to early 20th century American production.Smaller bowl 7 in. Dia., 3 in.
