Set of Three Brass Figural Girandole Candlesticks - An elegant set of three gilt brass girandole candlesticks, each centered by a romantic figural group depicting a standing couple in 18th-century dress beneath scrolling foliate arms. The central example features four scrolling candle arms with suspended faceted prism drops, while the flanking examples each retain two arms, all fitted with cut crystal pendants that catch and refract light beautifully. The figures stand upon stepped rectangular white marble bases, lending weight and classical contrast to the ornate gilt superstructure. The composition evokes French Rococo revival taste, with acanthus scrolls, foliate bobeches, and decorative prism lusters characteristic of late 19th to early 20th century decorative lighting and mantel garnitures. 17 in.
