Carved Mahogany Curved Glass China Cabinet, Attr. To R.J. Horner, Circa 1900 - Magnificent carved mahogany curved-glass china cabinet, attributed to R.J. Horner & Co., New York, circa 1900. The cabinet features an elaborate foliate and grotesque mask crest flanked by boldly carved lion heads, over a serpentine front with curved glass sides and original wooden shelves. Supported on carved paw feet and adorned with scroll and acanthus leaf embellishments throughout. Retains rich original surface and warm patina. 74 in. H, 52 in. W, 21 in. D. Condition: ery good overall; glass panels intact; minor age wear and surface rubbing consistent with use; interior shelves show light marks; structurally sound and impressive in presentation.
