Federal Style Inlaid Mahogany Huntboard - Refined Federal style mahogany huntboard or sideboard table, having a rectangular top with satinwood-style string inlay border over a conforming case fitted with four small drawers flanking a larger central drawer, all with elegant inlaid linework and stylized corner motifs. Each drawer is fitted with brass ring pulls with escutcheon. The piece is raised on long square tapering legs, giving it the light, architectural profile characteristic of late 18th and early 19th century Federal design. Finished in a warm mahogany tone with attractive grain, this is a particularly handsome and display-worthy example. 40.5 in. t x 46.5 in. w x 22 in. d.
