Victorian Rosewood Credenza with Marble Top, 19th Century - A finely proportioned Victorian credenza crafted from rosewood, retaining its original dark finish and topped with a shaped white marble slab. The serpentine front fitted with a long central drawer above a pair of paneled cabinet doors, each inset with pierced foliate fretwork panels backed in deep burgundy fabric, creating strong visual contrast. The case flanked by carved scroll supports, raised on shaped feet, and accented with applied floral and foliate carvings throughout. Interior fitted with shelving, suitable for use as a dining credenza, sideboard, or display cabinet. An elegant and well-preserved example of mid- to late-19th-century Victorian cabinetmaking. 35 in. H, 50 in. W, 20 in. D Condition: Very good overall condition with expected surface wear consistent with age. Original finish showing attractive patina. Marble top with light surface wear and minor staining. Interior clean and functional. No major structural issues observed.
