Pair of Large Classical Revival Cast Iron Garden Urns on Pedestals - Impressive and substantial pair of black-painted cast iron garden urns, each of classical campana form with wide gadrooned rim, flared lip, and deeply molded body featuring high-relief foliate and scroll panels. The midsection is encircled by acanthus and floral swags in rectangular reserves, above a lobed lower bowl. Each urn is fitted with opposing ram’s head masks issuing loop handles, a neoclassical motif drawn from ancient Roman prototypes. The urns are raised on integral baluster stems and square plinth bases, each mounted to matching paneled pedestals decorated with recessed foliate relief panels on all four sides. The stepped bases provide strong architectural presence suitable for entryways, terraces, or formal garden settings. Finished in matte black over cast iron, with visible casting texture to interior and surface consistent with age and outdoor use. 42 in. H, 19 in. D (each). Condition: Surface wear, minor scuffs and abrasions to painted finish, consistent with age and handling. Structurally sound and stable. Interior surfaces show oxidation consistent with cast iron garden elements. No visible cracks or structural breaks observed.
