Wave Crest Milk Glass Vase with Gilt Metal Feet, C.F. Monroe Co., Meriden, Connecticut - A refined Wave Crest milk glass vase of elegant baluster form, molded in high relief with scrolling rococo ornament and beaded rim detail. The satin-finished white glass body is delicately hand-painted with soft pink floral sprays and trailing foliage, characteristic of late 19th-century Wave Crest production. The vase is raised on four ornate gilt metal feet, cast in foliate form, enhancing its vertical presentation and decorative appeal. The underside bears the faint red Wave Crest shield mark, confirming manufacture by the C.F. Monroe Company, Meriden, Connecticut, circa 1890–1910. 12.5 in. H, approximately 4 in. Dia. Condition: No observed cracks or repairs to glass. Gilt metal feet with age-appropriate wear and minor surface patina. Floral decoration remains attractive with light expected wear consistent with age.
