Pair of Impressive Cut Glass Vases with Bronze Seahorse Handles - A striking pair of large cut glass vases of baluster form, each mounted with elaborate bronze handles cast as opposing seahorses with scrolling foliate extensions. The glass bodies are richly cut with starbursts, crosshatching, and geometric panels, rising from square cut bases. A bronze collar at the neck features rosette medallions and openwork decoration. The scale and exuberant mounting suggest late 19th to early 20th century European decorative production, possibly French or Continental. The combination of heavy cut crystal and figural bronze mounts gives the pair strong architectural presence. 23 in. H, 13 in. W Condition: Excellent condition; no repairs, chips, or cracks observed.
