Five-Piece Silverplate Tea and Coffee Service with Large Serving Tray - Victorian-style silver plate five-piece tea and coffee service, comprising coffee pot, tea pot, covered sugar bowl, creamer, and waste bowl, together with a large matching handled serving tray. Each piece is richly decorated in high-relief repoussé and chased ornament featuring scrolling foliate motifs, shell forms, and rocaille cartouches in the Rococo Revival taste. Marks to the underside indicate silver plate manufacture. The set reflects the late 19th to early 20th century revival of 18th century French and English Rococo formsTea pot 12 in. T; tray 28 in. W Condition: Good overall condition with surface wear, light scratching, and minor areas of plate wear consistent with age and polishing. No major dents observed.
