Antique Ship Diorama in Shadow Box Frame - Large antique maritime diorama featuring a fully rigged sailing ship model displayed in a deep shadow box case, 20 in. H x 35 in. W x 8 in. D. The hand-crafted vessel appears to be a late 19th to early 20th century three-masted square-rigger, constructed of carved and painted wood with individually formed sails, extensive thread rigging, lifeboat detail, and textured “sea” base. The model is housed behind glass in a substantial gilt composition frame with ornate scroll and foliate decoration. The depth of the case allows for strong dimensional presence, with original wood backing and mounting chain visible. A striking decorative maritime display piece with strong visual impact.
