Miniature Federal Inlaid Chest of Drawers - Charming American Federal period miniature chest of drawers, mahogany, featuring a rectangular top above four graduated drawers with finely executed line inlay and distinctive lightwood escutcheon insets. The drawers are fitted with oval brass pulls and retain crisp beaded edge detailing, while the case rests on shaped bracket feet with a gently scalloped apron. The rich reddish-brown surface and tight grain suggest mahogany, though cherry is possible; the warm tone and restrained inlay are hallmarks of early 19th century Federal craftsmanship.
