Bidspirit auction | Three (3) 1924 Peace Silver

Three (3) 1924 Peace Silver Dollars Philadelphia Mint (No Mintmark) .900 Fine Silver - Group of three 1924 Peace Silver Dollars struck at the Philadelphia Mint (no mintmark), each composed of .900 fine silver and containing 0.7734 troy ounces of pure silver per coin (total silver content approximately 2.32 troy ounces). The 1924 issue recorded a substantial mintage of 11,811,000 pieces and represents an early and popular date within the Peace dollar series. As a first-half series issue, the 1924 remains consistently collected by date-and-mintmark specialists and silver investors alike. Strike quality on the group appears typical for the issue, with moderate softness occasionally visible in Liberty?s hair above the ear and at the eagle?s breast feathers. Surfaces display honest circulation wear with silver-gray patina and scattered contact marks consistent with commercial handling and storage in 2x2 holders. One example shows slightly deeper toning across the reverse fields, adding character. A compact early-date Peace dollar lot offering both numismatic collectibility and solid bullion backing. Condition: Mixed circulated grades, approximately Very Fine to About Uncirculated. Typical contact marks and moderate wear; no major rim damage observed. Sold as a group.
