Millennium King of the East Silver Tetradrachm Scythian King Azes II (35 BC - 5 AD), in - An authentic ancient silver tetradrachm of Scythian King Azes II (circa 35 BC - 5 AD), struck in the Indo-Scythian kingdom of the Afghanistan/Pakistan region and mounted in a substantial 14K yellow gold pendant setting. 4 grams total. The obverse depicts King Azes II on horseback, wearing a cape, with surrounding Greek legend naming and styling the ruler. The reverse features a standing figure with inscription in ancient Kharosthi script, reflecting one of the earliest bilingual coin traditions of the ancient world and the cultural fusion of Hellenistic and Eastern civilizations along early Silk Road trade routes. The coin is housed within an ornate, radiating textured 14K gold mount with integrated bail measuring 6 mm x 8.6 mm, allowing both sides of the coin to remain visible. Total pendant weight is 19.70 grams, including approximately 18.5 grams of 14K gold in the mount, creating a significant intrinsic gold foundation. Accompanied by an Aber & Levine Ltd. Certificate of Authenticity dated January 6, 2002 (Certificate No. 4138).
