Group of Seven United States Coins Including War Nickel and Women's Expo Copper Medal - Small mixed group of seven United States coins and medals housed in cardboard 2x2 holders. The lot includes a 2000 Sacagawea dollar, a World War II?era silver Jefferson ?war nickel? (1944-D), an additional 1942 Jefferson nickel, a Roosevelt dime dated 1990, a Buffalo nickel, and two additional Jefferson nickels including another wartime 35% silver example. Also included is a large copper medal from the Mississippi Women?s Exposition, featuring portraits of Theodore and John R. Butler and reverse depicting the Lincoln Memorial with inscription referencing the celebration of women of Mississippi. The wartime nickels, struck 1942?1945 with a special alloy containing 35% silver due to wartime nickel shortages, remain popular with collectors and silver investors alike.
