Group of Thirty-Four Roosevelt Dimes, Including Silver Issues - Lot consisting of thirty-four United States Roosevelt dimes housed in individual 2x2 holders, with dates ranging primarily from 1948 through the mid-1960s, along with a few later circulation issues. Included are multiple early Roosevelt dimes from the late 1940s and 1950s such as 1948, 1948-D, 1949, 1949-D, 1952, 1953-S, 1954, 1956, 1957-D, 1958-D, and 1959-D, along with 1964 and 1964-D examples representing the final year of traditional 90% silver Roosevelt coinage. Roosevelt dimes were introduced in 1946 to commemorate President Franklin D. Roosevelt and his association with the March of Dimes campaign. All dimes dated 1946?1964 are struck in 90% silver, each containing approximately 0.0723 troy ounces of pure silver, while later pieces are copper-nickel clad.
