Bidspirit auction | Seventeen Rolls of Roosevelt Silver

Seventeen Rolls of Roosevelt Silver Dimes (1945-1964) - Lot consisting of seventeen original bank-wrapped rolls of United States Roosevelt dimes, each roll containing 50 coins for a total of approximately 850 dimes. The rolls are labeled and believed to contain coins dated 1945 through 1964, representing the early decades of the Roosevelt dime series introduced in 1946 to honor President Franklin D. Roosevelt. All dimes produced through 1964 were struck in the traditional 90% silver composition, each containing approximately 0.0723 troy ounces of pure silver, making this group attractive to both coin collectors and precious-metal investors. These rolls offer an excellent opportunity for collectors to search for desirable dates, mintmarks, and higher-grade examples while also holding significant intrinsic silver value. Condition: Circulated coins contained in partially worn and labeled paper bank rolls; coins not individually examined.
