Twenty-Seven Rolls of Roosevelt Silver Dimes (1960-1964) - Substantial group lot consisting of twenty-seven bank-wrapped rolls of United States Roosevelt dimes, each roll containing 50 coins, for a total of approximately 1,350 dimes. The rolls are marked for dates 1960 through 1964, representing the final years of the original 90% silver Roosevelt dime series before the transition to clad coinage in 1965. These coins were struck in the traditional 90% silver, 10% copper alloy, with each dime containing approximately 0.0723 troy ounces of pure silver, giving this group an estimated combined silver content of roughly 97.6 troy ounces. Condition: Coins contained in original and partially worn paper bank rolls; rolls unopened and coins not individually examined.
