Group of 8 Eisenhower Dollars and Bicentennial Mint Set Coins - Group lot consisting primarily of Eisenhower dollar coins together with additional Bicentennial issues still sealed in original U.S. Mint packaging. The lot includes multiple Eisenhower dollars dated 1977 as well as several 1776?1976 Bicentennial Eisenhower dollars featuring the dual-date commemorating the 200th anniversary of American independence. Reverse designs include the Apollo 11 mission insignia eagle landing on the moon and the Bicentennial Liberty Bell with moon motif designed by Dennis R. Williams. Also included are coins from a 1976 Bicentennial mint set still sealed in original plastic strips, including the Bicentennial Eisenhower dollar, Kennedy half dollar depicting Independence Hall on the reverse, and Washington quarter with the colonial drummer design. These large-format dollar coins represent the final series of circulating U.S. silver-sized dollars and remain popular with collectors assembling modern type sets and Bicentennial commemorative issues.
