Group of British Commonwealth and U.S. Silver Coins (13 Pieces) - Mixed group of thirteen primarily silver coins including British Commonwealth and United States issues dating from the early to mid-twentieth century. The lot includes several U.S. Mercury dimes (1916?1945 type) struck in 90% silver and featuring Adolph A. Weinman?s celebrated Winged Liberty Head design with fasces reverse. Accompanying these are British Commonwealth silver coins including a New Zealand Sixpence dated 1935 with kiwi reverse, along with additional small denomination silver issues typical of Commonwealth circulation during the reigns of George V and George VI. The grouping also contains larger base metal Commonwealth coins such as a New Zealand One Florin with kiwi design and a British half penny, illustrating the varied circulating coinage of the British Empire during the first half of the twentieth century. With multiple pre-1965 U.S. silver dimes and early Commonwealth silver pieces. Condition: Mixed circulated condition overall with moderate to heavy wear, typical handling marks, and some toning and surface oxidation consistent with long-term storage in coin holders.
