Collection of Ninety 1964 Roosevelt Silver Dimes - Group of ninety United States Roosevelt dimes dated 1964, housed individually in cardboard coin holders and stored in a red collector?s storage box labeled ?Silver Dimes.? The Roosevelt dime was introduced in 1946 to honor President Franklin D. Roosevelt, with the design created by U.S. Mint Chief Engraver John R. Sinnock. The obverse features Roosevelt?s portrait, while the reverse depicts a torch flanked by olive and oak branches symbolizing liberty, peace, and strength.All coins in this lot are 1964 issues, the final year that United States dimes were struck in 90% silver for circulation before the transition to clad coinage in 1965.
